Get to Half @ Pre-School

MMSB can provide your preschool with educational resources to help teach young children about the importance of practicing the 3Rs - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle - to keep our earth clean and healthy.

Program Resources

To best meet the needs of our province's preschools, we surveyed educators to see what types of resources Early Childhood Educators would find useful. With your feedback, MMSB has developed the following tools for preschools across the province:

Presentation:

We offer interactive presentations (free of charge) that focus on simple ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Presentations are available to licensed preschool centres.

Resource Kit:

We've packaged our resources for licensed child care facilities across the province to adapt for use in their classrooms. The kit includes interactive group activities, a preschool 3R checklist, and creative art ideas for children and educators!

Poster:

MMSB has developed a "What Can We Recycle?" poster made just for preschoolers that shows the items that can be recycled at a Green Depot.
