Solid Waste Management Innovation Fund

Do you have an innovative green idea and could use $15,000 to further develop it? MMSB’s Solid Waste Management Innovation Fund provides financial support for green innovators who are finding creative ways to make waste reduction products and services useful in Newfoundland and Labrador.
The Solid Waste Innovation Fund is a $15,000 non-repayable contribution for the research and development of new or improved technologies, products, services, or processes that support the management of solid waste in Newfoundland and Labrador, at any stage of the waste management hierarchy (reduce, reuse, recycle, or recover).
One man's trash truly can be another's treasure and we are seeking green innovators who are finding ways to reduce waste in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Assessment Criteria
Funding will cover eligible costs, to a maximum of $15,000. Provincially owned and/or operated businesses, industry associations, and not-for-profit organizations are all eligible for this funding to develop new or improve technology products, services, and processes that support the implementation of the Provincial Waste Management Strategy in Newfoundland and Labrador.Solid Waste Management Innovation Program Criteria
